Lend an Ear
It was more like Hwy 60, but the point is...I'm home! It's been a big week and I've got a bunch to blog and a bunch to not blog. I was going to sum it all up, but since I'm going to come back later with pictures to share, I guess I won't waste your time. Or mine :)
We're taking the day off from school today. I miss my kiddos! They're curled up on the couch reading a book right now. I'm going to visit my sis' blog now to see how her weekend went and then I'm gonna join them.

Do you remember the old Grape Nuts commercial with John Denver where he is sitting on a mountain top eating a bowl of cereal? Do you remember eating Grape Nuts at Grandma & Grandpa Hardin's? That is a cereal that I will never buy. It is like chewing on small pebbles. Love ya, Misty
Ah, see, you never gave it the proper amount of time. After pouring your milk, there is a window between hard as tiny pebbles and mushy as paste. It's a small window, but with enough sugar, it is quite a delicious window.
Did I ever tell you about the time I met John Denver? :-)
No, really, I did. I have a picture, but I look *way* too excited about having met John Denver in the picture, it's embarrassing.
You are my hero, Andie! John Denver is COOL!!!! I had a crush on him when I was a kid.
Now See Meg if you read this, you can laugh and not worry about having a crush on Ewan Macgregor, even though he is closer to Dad's age then yours. Because Jenn Ann had a crush on John Denver. Let me say it again....John Denver. What was she thinking? What were you thinking Jenn Ann? Did you picture yourself walking down a country road together, singing and eating Grape Nuts? :) hee hee
Do you have to mention Ewan as being that close to dad's age? I'm pretty sure he's just a couple years older than me. But I guess when you get down to it, I'm as close to dad's age as I am to meg's. And for the record...it was a brief crush, somewhere around the age of 10. Hardly even counts.
It counts if you remember it!!!
