" It's the Bible, you get credit for trying!"
The more I think of it, the more I like the movie.
What I didn't like was "V for Vendetta". Someone could have warned me that it was a giant comic book. I just knew that the movie previews looked good. I never heard any reviews on that movie though. I remember someone from the WTM board saying the book was better. So I assumed it was a book.
Cheap, Fast, Good is goood. In fact, it would make a great Christmas present if anyone were so inclined. So would everything on the first page of Gooseberry Patch's summer catalog, but I digress.
I still haven't opened "civilized conversation", but I finished "Night" by Elie Wiesel, as recommended by Randi a while back. I also finished the last 2 books in the "Abram's Daughters" series by.....oh, you know, the Amish-story-lady. That's bad, but I'm tired. Forgive my laziness. Very good books. Next is Ted Dekker's "Obsessed", if I can fight Chris for it.
Just ignore the book list on the right, I'm not sure why I bother with it. I'll have to copy Andi's idea and just list the finished books. Perhaps I can sort them by "liked" and "didn't like".
