well, I guess it's not a bad thing if he was imaginary in the first place! We used to think of my son's imaginary friend like an angel....that's how he would describe him...his name was Michael and he was always around to help out ;D Good job documenting Peter....you never know what he'll be responsible for!
Nah, I just found it odd. Not really disturbing, as in 'wow, we've got to get her counselling' but we have definitely noticed a twisted streak in this little one. When she watches a bad guy get punched in Robin Hood, she cackles and crows. The fight scenes are her favorite parts. Keep in mind that we REALLY screen what she is allowed to watch. On the inside, I'm laughing. But on the outside, I'm saying "Honey....um, let's not delight in evil, 'kay?"
You know, I never thought about her working through the death thing. She had a grandma pass away about a month ago and now knows that two of her other grandmas have Alzheimer's. Also, we've discussed that our dog might not be with us much longer (she has terrible arthritis.) Lots of death discussions for her little head and heart to comprehend right now.
She just laughed and laughed about poor Peter. I thought it was hilarious that she made him up and killed him off all in one afternoon. That was a short friendship! :D

I thought that was sweet :) Have you had a death in your family or friends recently? My kids dwell on death and heaven when we've had to deal with it.
