Dreary

These shots were taken around 4:00 this afternoon. Ewwww.

It just doesn't quite catch the foggy mist in the air. The freezing foggy mist.

Ethan braved the elements to put salt down after his mama took a tumble on the driveway. Ouch.
I was venturing outside to move the van into the garage. I had driven it only an hour before and the weather was fine. Just in case, I thought I'd move it out of the any oncoming elements. Little did I know, the elements were already there. I drove it into the garage Ace
Ventura style.

I wouldn't have been out in the cold at all today, but the kids had dentist appointments. Ethan needs braces. Joel needs braces. Honor and Sarah both have cavities and need to see a specialist. WooHoo! Way to over-achieve, girls!

We're supposedly getting 2-4 inches tonight. A few hours ago it was 4-6 inches...I'm figuring it will probably just flurry... Kentucky weather *blah*. Nevertheless, if the public schools are out tomorrow, I say we should get a snow day too, right? Just because my kids are homeschooled shouldn't mean they have to miss out on the utter elation of having a whole day to do absolutley nothing just because it's cold outside.

I hope you are ok after your ice skating incident! Braces and cavities--how well I know your pain!!

LOL what a great post.....the adventures and trials of a mom-on-the-go!
Spills, thrills and dentist bills....sounds all too familiar!
(though I have no ice to slide on.....just bodily fluids from the rampant flue over here....ahem TMI??)
