Seen it a few too many times?
While shopping for VBS supplies in Wal-Mart, I fed the kids from the deli. Some delightful concoction known as Pizza Sticks. The girls washed it down with Strawberry Milk. While riding in the cart, Honor cupped her hands around her strawberry milk and sniffed it. Then she took a sip and announced (loudly) "It tastes like a crappy cup of coffee."
I whispered (loudly) "Honor! We don't say that!"
Okay, maybe I do, but that's not the point. She's supposed to do as I say, not as I do.
She was in character though and continued, "It is a crappy cup of coffee!"

Darned kids. They're a bunch of little copy cats, letting the whole world know what OUR bad habits are. Hmmph.
LOL
I dont know whats funnier...that my kids love those pizza sticks too (and that is how I grocery shop these days) or that Laura Grace said the EXACT SAME PHRASE two days ago. Because she has heard me say it too.
By the way I love the family picture!! You look gorgeous (so does your husband and kids of course LOL) I love that blond hair!!
Yeah, it's kind of embarrassing when they say those things that they could've only gotten from us.
On the way to the chicken yard my four year old (at the time) daughter commented every step of the way,
"Damn gnats. Damn gnats"
Well...did it taste like a crappy cup of coffee? How would she know anyway? Has she ever had bad coffee?
Hmm. I think I missed the point again.
Well I don't know WHAT you're talking about. I'm sure MY children never say naughty things.
*hiccough* Now WHEEERE did I put Mommy's Special Coffee? Hmmm....
You mean "syrup in coffee? Why didn't I think of that???"
