What if there are bears?

I've been a lazy blogger lately. It's been great. I've sat back, sipping coffee and reading everyone else's blogs....all the while not posting on my own. It started when my computer froze up and Windows refused to operate. Since my husband is a computer genius, I feared I would never see my files again. Cobbler's son and all that.

However, my nifty husband has given me Ubuntu until he is able to fix my Windows problem. It has taken some getting used to, but it's a rather nifty thing. The power of community, eh?

I haven't tried messing with Picasa through this yet, so no new pictures that aren't already uploaded for now. I'm too lazy to send them to photobucket.

In the meantime, I'm teaching my kids and cleaning my house and getting them both done at about a so-so level. No over-achieving here. No, sirree.

I have no mental energy left to share anything witty, so I'll instead leave you with this handy home fix-it video.

So you can fix things.

Safely.

Okay, that was pretty funny, and I don't usually care for these videos. :-)

LOL That was great.

I second the unmotivated thing.

Blah.

Funny video. But nobody mentioned the obvious. Just keep a domestic cat with you at all times. Not only are they cute and cuddly, but they can put up a pretty good defense against bears according to an this article.

That will only work against brown bears though. If it is a grizzly, take coffee girls advice.

Good to know, Mike. How strange that a cute, cuddly kitty could repulse a bear. But I'm not a cat person and would rather suffer a short bear attack than have a cat living with me for years.

No, what I thought you were going to point out as the obvious, was the grammar in the title..."What if there's bears?" Gah!
