Smackdown

On the way home from church, midst discussions of Sunday School lessons, Sarah piped up: "I learned hitting is bad."

Sarah, did you hit someone today?

"No."

Did someone hit you?

"With rocks."

I sympathized and said that Not Hitting was a great lesson to learn and then asked, "Do you know why we don't hit?"

Honor nodded emphatically and said, "Cuz it's a rule."

It led to a good discussion on loving others and not hurting them...how we can't love God and hate others. Good lesson.

So remember, people, no hitting.....it's a rule.
