TheraBreath Giveaway!

This review is a little different from what I usually choose, but Therabreath ads have been taking over my facebook sidebar and it was making me a tad paranoid.  So when I was offered the chance to review TheraBreath Toothpaste, I took it.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that they also sent me the Oral Rinse and Therabreath Lozenges.

TheraBreath claims that it stops bad breath.  I don't think I had issues here to begin with (if you know me and feel otherwise I insist you tell me!) but wondered if it might help with morning breath.  I'm much more inclined to good morning kisses than my husband and was hoping to increase my chances of morning smooches.  I really think that Therabreath stopped the morning breath problem, but my husband thought it actually increased his morning breath.  He started sneaking into the kids' bathroom and using their toothpaste.

When I first tried the toothpaste, it looked like I was squirting petroleum jelly onto my toothbrush, which was a little disconcerting.  But it didn't have a weird texture at all once in my mouth.  It had virtually zero flavor that first time and I was glad to have the mouthwash.  The mouthwash tasted like water with a tiny bit of mint flavoring.  No overwhelming flavors. I noticed though, that each day I used it, the toothpaste developed a bit stronger flavor. Though I didn't see peelu anywhere in the ingredient list, it eventually developed a taste just like the peelu toothpastes I've tried in the past and couldn't stand.  I didn't like it.  If you haven't tried peelu, the best way I could describe it is a powdery taste similar to the aftertaste you get with milk of magnesia.

The mints, however, were wonderful.  They taste like buttermints with a hint of a tang.  I thought they worked nicely, too.

The price for the Toothpaste & Oral Rinse are $10.50 each, which seems rather expensive to me since I wasn't overly impressed. The price for the Lozenges is $13.00, but this is for a rather large box and I found them to be very effective.  Generally, breath mints just make me need more breath mints, so I could easily go through a package a day if I did any amount of public speaking.  One of these little mints is plenty, so the price of this box cannot in any way be compared to the price of a package of mints.  It can easily last for months.
For this giveaway, the winner will receive 1 tube of TheraBreath toothpaste and 1 bottle of TheraBreath Oral Rinse.  US entries only; sorry! To enter for the giveaway, you need to leave a comment here with contact information and you need to "like" TheraBreath on Facebook.
