"You know how you wanted the bathroom finished up within a couple weeks?"

"Well, I still need you to remove the border above the shower before I can paint."
"um"
"So if you aren't able to scrape border soon, I'll do it. But I'll have to stack a chair on top of a chair to reach and it could be dangerous."
"Are you saying that if I don't scrape the border tonight, we can't...ya know."
"No! Oh, NO, no, no, no, no! I'll gladly take care of the border next week. I'm just saying that if I fall, I could be left a quadriplegic and we'd never be able to....ya know....again."
See how I didn't nag there? I think my marriage bible study is helping me so much.

I think I could take that approach with Clay...the gentle reminder that if he doesn't take out the trash on Tuesdays the smell is so bad by Friday that it could cause me to pass out and hit my head on the concrete...

So, how is the Bible study going? Do you do it at your home or where? Do you still have a big group showing up? I "think" I would like to do something similar at my house one day!
