Was there any doubt?

As a 1930s wife, I am
Poor

Take the test!

Okay, Lawanda, this was fun. There is a short quiz and it asks you to rate how well you fit specific descriptions, such as:

"Seams in hose often crooked."

I actually marked this as a yes. Not that my hose have seams in them. Nor that I wear hose. But if I did, I know they'd be crooked.

"Reacts with pleasure and delight to marital congress."

This actually took me a moment to interpret. Too many politics on t.v. for me to immediatley recognize that "congress" might refer to something a little less crowded than the senate.

Go check out your 1930's Marital Scale and tell me how much better you are than me.

Ooh, fun! How did your husband do on his test? Mine took it and got a 76, but when I took it for him he got 132. He scored me higher on the wife test than I scored myself too!

I scored "average" although that surprised me. I thought I'd do poorer than that. My husband scored better on his side of the test.

LOL! I would prolly have got a worse score if I had answered the seams/pantyhose question like you did (honestly I would most like have ripped pantyhose if I wore them often or EVER)!! teeheeheee

I think you make a GREAT new-millennium housewife ;) Can I say that? Is that politically correct?! *tap tap* Is this thing on? :-p

I got a 79, very superior! And that was in spite of my vulgar or risque stories and foul language!

I marked no to the seams in hose because I don't wear hose. If I'd have looked at it the way you did, I'd have had to mark yes. I did wear pantyhose with seams once to go with a 1940s Women's Army Corps uniform. I hope my seams were straight. I sure tried anyway.
