My true love gave to me......a Giveaway!

Okay, it wasn't my true love, it was Trigger Memory Systems. But it was a lovely gift. You might remember me raving about this company's Times Tales book. As much as I love that book, I think I might like this one even better.

I'm talking about their Zone Cleaning for Kids book. This book takes everything you need to know in order to properly tidy a house and breaks it into manageable portions so that kids can successfully clean the house. I'll be honest, it's not just the kids. I use it myself. You know how sometimes life happens and the entire house is utterly destroyed? I have found myself wandering around just wondering where to begin. If it is this overwhelming for us adults, can you imagine how overwhelming it is for kids? This book takes the guesswork out of everything. You begin with step one and progress through the list systematically. It is so simple and so quick! In our house, we call this our flip chart. Every day, I say "It's time to flip the house!" and within 20 minutes, the house is clean. This book is sturdy and laminated so that you can write in it with a dry erase marker. But we rarely even open the book anymore. The steps are memorized. We all take turns "flipping" different rooms in the house and we almost have fun doing so.

Bedroom Cleaning for Kids is another wonderful tool by Trigger Memory Systems. Using this book, even my 3 and 5 year old can clean their room without tears. Wouldn't you say that is worth $7.95? The kids have fun tidying and they are so proud of themselves when they are finished!

Laundry for Kids is something I haven't been brave enough to let the kids try yet. I am very picky about my laundry. But when I am they are ready, this will be an excellent tool for them to refer to. It takes them through the steps, just like the other book, of doing the laundry beginning with gathering and sorting the clothing all the way to folding and putting away the clean laundry. Extra instruction is also offered to help the child determine what kind of washer settings they might need.
The Laundry book is in black and white, rather than color like the other two, but is still a great reference if you are ready to hand this chore over to your children. It will be especially nice because it will eliminate the need for them coming to you to repeatedly ask, "Okay, now what? I forget..."

The books can be purchased individually or in different package combinations to save a bit.

And now, a giveaway! I will be giving all 3 books away to one winner to be randomly selected Friday night at midnight. This package is worth $29.95...and it really is worth every penny. To enter, all you need to do is take a peek at my other TOS reviews and tell me which product sounds the most appealing to you. Leave a comment telling me about your favorite and you will be automatically entered. If you blog about this contest, leave a 2nd comment sharing a link to your post and I will enter you twice! My random number generator, named Ethan, will wake up briefly to pick the winner Friday night at midnight. He will not remember doing so and his speech will be slurred, but pick it he will....and shhhh, don't tell, but I hope he picks you!

For more reviews of this product, be sure to check out the Homeschool Crew.

Put my name into the hat!

I looked over the art program...looks pretty good and I'm art challenged around here, too, which is funny because art my favorite thing when I was in school. I'd draw anything and everything.

I'd love to put my name in the hat, too, but I can't follow the link to your other reviews. *pout*

It just a recursive link back to your blog and the wonderful, glorious, chore guides. Which I love. Could you tell Ethan I tried?

Oh this is hard. I have wanted that Flip chore chart thing for sometime so I will have it a shot. I loved the looks of the art program, maybe I could get art done. However, when I look at Man in the Map that looks absolutely perfect and interesting too.

The review that has gotten my attention most is the Times Tales one. I had heard it mentioned before, but you pushed me over. This is definitely a product I will pursue when the time is right. :)

I really like the Nativity Set from One2Believe. I have a different set, but the peices come apart on mine. This set looks like it would be very fun and I wouldn't loose tiny peices like my other set. I also like that it comes with a stable.
