We've been pushing hard to wrap up school. Joel has had some health problems that set us back at least a month. Chris and I are really working on the new website. We're trying to fix up odds and ends around the house to hopefully sell so we can start hunting for that perfect house in the country. And, I'm researching, purchasing, organizing, and laying out our next school year which begins in just 4 weeks. Yikes!
Here are some shots of a trip to Columbia. We just happened to spot a solar-powered car on our way home and stopped to see what turned out to be an exhibition of race participants. We weren't bargaining on bad parking, long walk, and HOT weather. The kids were thrilled to find a fire truck sharing cool water for splashing.

Oh my dear, if we could all be this free spirited! They are havin' a blast!
Ya'll have a blessed day!
You're finishing school so you can start school? OIY! We're already dreading the first day of school, and we've been off since early May. *sigh* At least homeschool group will start again and we can see our friends. Right?
I found your blog while looking through someone else's (from the Homeschool Crew). Your name caught my eye and I just had to check your blog out! Love your name and "sub title"!! Too funny.
I am following your blog and look forward to reading more!
O.K....the blog world just got smaller for me. I stumbled upon your blog from the WTM boards, I think, then discover from your library post that we use (or used to use) the same library! Your posts always crack me up...the running shoe one had me laughing so hard my daughter wondered what was going on! I have something for you at my blog...check it out when you get a chance!
