I am in love with this knitting book. The beginning has all of the basics for any beginning knitter and the instructions in this section include great illustrations to help you along. Once finished with this instuctional portion, the hats are ADORABLE! Creative and fun hats posed on the most adorable babies.
I've checked it out from the library FOUR TIMES now. I thought a few socks/hats during Christmas would be the gist of my knitting for the year, but this boosted my confidence and opened up ideas for more creative projects. I'm still a beginner, but I am really enjoying knitting and plan to fit in more time for it this year.

Those are really cute! I haven't progressed at all with knitting.
I've made lots of crochet afghans (and am still making them), but I think I'm about ready to adventure out into the world of something besides an afghan. I'm learning how to read a pattern, so hopefully, I'll be able to make something else. :)
Andrea, have you tried amigurumi yet? They are the tiny little stuffed toys that are sooooo cute! Joel started crocheting a couple months ago and he is LOVING these things!
I'm impressed, the hats are just gorgeous especially the little one on our little Princess!
You go girl! Maybe someday ya will knit me a fancy smancy sweater! :o)
Enjoy sweetie!!!
