I win

If losing things were a sport, I'd be the champ. No kidding, I'd win the race every time.

Though dear Freddie here looks as if he could give me a run for my money. He apparently has lost his blouse. I have that exact same outfit and I am absolutely certain that it came with a red, ruffled blouse.

Back to my new sport: I'm telling you, I've misplaced things a gazillion times this week. Maybe more. I finally broke down and cleaned the house today. Perchance that will help.

I also put in a garden today! A real garden! Last year, we planted everything the day before the great flood and the entire garden stayed under water for about a month. It was a mess. When things did start to come up, they had floated around and replanted haphazardly, so we weren't sure what were plants and what were weeds. So we just let it all grow. Our neighbors on our block got together and cluck-clucked and shook their heads. They told me this winter that they'd given us our chance to do it our way and they had their fun laughing at us, but this spring was going to be different. So the neighbors behind us took up the duty of teaching us how to do a real garden. It really is pretty. I just now thought about taking a picture to blog, but it's 11:00 at night, and that just doesn't have the same effect, so it will have to wait.

I can't begin to tell you how great it was to sit down and blog after a satisfying day of doing what needed done. Blogging without guilt. I'm alone and have no responsibilities waiting.... ahhhh.... this is nice. Dh will be home in about 5 minutes, so I think I'll go and try looking pretty.

Oh, but wasn't he a faaaabulous dresser? If I want to hear the music without my own laughing covering it, I've got to look away from the videos. I'm so glad you wear a shirt underneath your version of that outfit:o)

Yeah for your garden! I'm jealous! I wish someone would come give me pointers! I can't wait to see it all lush and full or produce!

The video is just plain scary! His costume almost looks like what Lainey had to wear at her recital, LOL.

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
